Naturally Spawning Catfish
The
first step for naturally spawning catfish is to choose a female and male ripe
gonads. Choose a pair of catfish that has a balanced weight, the goal that one
parent is not the fear of the other parent. Balance the weight of influence on
spawning success.
Before
the process of spawning catfish done, prepare beforehand pond spawning. Pool is
ideal for spawning length of 2-3 meters, width of 1-2 meters and a depth of 1
meter. Should bottom of the pool is made of cement or fiberglass for easy

The
right time to enter into the broodstock spawning pool is in the afternoon.
Usually catfish will spawn around 23:00 until 05:00. During spawning catfish
ponds should be closed, to prevent the parent fish jump out of the pool. In the
mornings, usually the spawning process is completed. The eggs will stick to
kakaban. The eggs were successfully fertilized failed colorless transparent

After
spawning is completed, immediately lift the parent of spawning catfish ponds.

(aeration) should be maintained and stabilized temperature in the range of
28-29 C.
The
fertilized egg will hatch into larvae within 24 hours. After it failed to
immediately separate the eggs or larvae that die to prevent the growth of
fungus. The larvae that hatch will survive without supplementary feeding for
